All-Ireland Inter Firm SFC Semi-final/AIB Kerry 1-11 Hanlys (Roscommon) 0-8:Colm 'Gooch' Cooper, former AllIreland senior medal winners Barry O'Shea and Stephen Stack, and new kid on the block David Ogie Moran, all inspired AIB Kerry to victory over the Connacht champions from Roscommon at Dr Crokes in Killarney.

Cooper, who heads for Arizona this week, was at his mercurial best as Hanlys double- and treble-teamed him at times, thus giving his team-mates extra space as AIB Kerry racked up a big first-half total, leading 1-8 to 0-2.

And it would have been worse if Cooper had not struck the crossbar in the 30th minute after collecting a long O'Regan delivery.

Hanlys, despite the presence of Declan Meehan, Derek Connellan and Donegal's Niall McCready, had no answers, as David Moran dominated midfield.
