Schools' rugby: Holders, Christian Brothers' College, Cork, are still on course for a second consecutive final appearance after a second-half Alec Joyce try proved crucial in yesterday's Munster Schools' Junior Cup semi-final at Thomond Park.

Crescent started brightly, Mark Doyle touching down in the eighth minute and they struck again in the 25th minute through Andrew Burke to open up a 10-point advantage.

Christians hit back four minutes later with a Conor Reilly try and after dominating possession in the second half laid claim to the replay when Alec Joyce touched down in the 44th minute.
