Owen Casey's bid to improve his doubles world ranking on the ATP computer gathered momentum on the Malaysian satellite circuit yesterday when he won the delayed doubles final, partnering Austrian George Blumauer.
The final was washed out by torrential rain over the weekend and was eventually played yesterday when the Irish number one's established understanding with the Austrian was very much in evidence in a straight sets 6-4, 6-4 win over Sebastien Graeff of France and Ota Fukarek of the Czech Republic.
