House Of Dreams is quoted at 7 to 2 with a run by the sponsors for the Tote Scoop6 Lanzarote Hurdle at Kempton Park on Saturday following the news that Mary Reveley's improving eight-year-old could run instead at Kelso the previous afternoon. The son of Darshaan cruised home by 16 lengths from In Good Faith under Tony Ross at Wetherby last Thursday to earn a sharp rise in the ratings, which looks likely to rule the gelding out of the Kempton race.

Betting: (Tote): 7-2 House Of Dreams (with a run), 4-1 Hulysse Royal, Veridian, 6-1 Dream Of Nurmi, 7-1 Miss Fara, 8-1 Heart, 10-1 Kathryn's Pet, Rudi Knight, 12-1 Auetaler, 14-1 Quakers Field, 16-1 Dines, Virtuoso, 20-1 bar.

Oliver Sherwood's Cheltenham Gold Cup entry Kadou Nonantais is quoted at 13 to 2 by Coral for his return to action in the Bet Direct Peter Marsh Chase at Haydock Park on Saturday. Successful in five of his seven starts over fences last season, the seven-year-old took a heavy fall on his final outing in the William Hill National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, but has since had a reportedly successful operation to remove bone chips from his shoulder.

Betting: (Coral): 7-2 Bobby Grant, Spendid, 9-2 Tresor De Mai, 5-1 Dr Leunt, 6-1 Tullymurry Toff, 13-2 Kadou Nonantais, 12-1 The Last Fling, 16-1 Step On Eyre, Macgeorge, 20-1 Flying Instructor, Jocks Cross, 25-1 Strong Promise, Unguided Missile, 66-1 Storm Of Gold, 80-1 Jemaro.

Smart Flat performer Largesse is set to make his hurdling debut for Oliver Sherwood at Kempton Park on Saturday. The six-year-old, second in last year's Yorkshire Cup when with John Berry, is also entered at Haydock Park at the weekend but his new trainer is favouring the Sunbury-On-Thames venue.

Largesse was suited by give in the ground on the level and Sherwood said: "I wouldn't run him on firm ground but good ground over jumps is like good to soft on the Flat."

The highflying Robbie Burke has had a hefty ban halved on appeal in Macau. Currently second in the jockeys' championship, Burke originally incurred a two-month ban, spanning 16 meetings, and a 50,000 dollar fine, for dropping his hands and costing his mount a race.

Burke admitted his wrongdoing but was shocked at the severity of the punishment. Hence his appeal, which has seen his ban halved to a total of eight meetings or the equivalent of a month. The fine remains in force.

Simon Dow runs Field Master (Franck Blondel) in the Prix du Cannet (71/2f) as the Cagnes-sur-Mer flat meeting gets underway today. Having his first outing for Dow since leaving Alec Stewart, Field Master showed a modicum of ability last term following three fourths in five outings. However, he is difficult to weigh up here and Lasting Life, Baragouin and Tikzane, are preferred on this occasion. In The Flow, from the powerful stable of JeanClaude Rouget, must be respected if nothing for the yard's reputation alone.
