Arsenal are considering a partnership with French first division side Cannes for the training of young players.

Highbury manager Arsene Wenger, on a private visit to the French Riviera, said yesterday the clubs were about to "sign a partnership in the field of training and talent spotting". Arsenal youth coach Liam Brady has already visited Cannes' impressive set up. Patrick Vieira, now with Arsenal, is a product of Cannes' system.
