Australia's selectors have named 14 Wallabies in the Australia A side to meet the touring Lions in Gosford, north of Sydney, next Tuesday.

The Eddie Jones-coached team is dominated by New South Wales combinations with a total of 10 Waratahs, four ACT Brumbies and just one Queenslander in Australian Sevens captain Richard Graham.

Jones said the Lions' form so far has been impressive and they will only get better. "They have quality players right through the squad, and it appears they've blended together well already. When you draw the best players from four top countries into one team, there are no weak links," he said.

"We have a good blend of experience and proven combinations which will help us. It's a tall order but there are plenty of blokes in this team with an obvious opportunity to impress the national selectors."
