Sir, - Congratulations to Kathryn Holmquist for an excellent article on "Victim radio" (February 9th).
When I listen to RTE, I feel assaulted, so much over the top it is. When I listen to BBC Radio 4, I feel educated; undoubtedly, not without an agenda, but educated, nonetheless. With advertisers paying half the cost, we cannot expect BBC standards from RTE. But, is the balance as good as it can be, or are we getting the worst of both worlds from RTE: Tam/ advertising-driven voyeuristic radio, heavily financed from the public purse? - Yours, etc., Cllr Richard Greene,
