Madam, - Further to Nicholas J Lowry's letter of July 6th I would point out that even if Vatican II did require the re-ordering of the sanctuary of Cobh Cathedral this should not have any bearing on An Bord Pleanála's authority.
Surely the church is bound by the same rules as the rest of us? - Yours etc,
