Madam, - Various sectors of the drinks industry are encouraging us to drink "sensibly". Is this another way of encouraging us to drink less. If it is, why don't they say so? Could it be that drinks industry companies might legitimately object to a marketing strategy which encourages consumers to use less of their products? If that is the case, can those promoting the "drink sensibly" campaign really mean it? - Yours, etc,
