Madam, - I would like to correct T. Bradley's mistake (April 6th). The 18-year-old in question sold her virginity for a mere £8,000, or thereabouts, and not for the drastic sum of £35,000 as claimed. As a student myself, I shudder to think of the long,exploitative summer months I spent working for less than €5 an hour. I must congratulate the girl on her novel scam and am only sorry that I didn't think of it first.
