Madam, - With the on-going upgrading of the blandly titled St Stephen's Green North, South East and West, now is the perfect time to revert to the original and more salubrious titles, namely Beaux Walk, Leeson Walk, Monk's Walk and French Walk respectively.
The old names aptly reflect today's aspiration towards increased pedestrianisation - and "French Walk" definitely would look a lot sexier as a destination for the shiny new trams arriving at the Green. - Yours, etc.,
