PURVEYORS OF PROMISCUITY

Sir, - It's sad how often indignation clouds the judgment

Sir, - It's sad how often indignation clouds the judgment. It's, a tawdry emotion that involved little cerebral function save that part of the brain that wags or, points the index finger. In his letter (March 29th), Mr Sean Woods suggested that not only do, condom vending machines assist in the financial support of CIE, but they also assist in the spread of promiscuity, "especially among young people". Mr Woods feels so strongly about the business that he avoids establishments that sell condoms and calls for others to do likewise.

Surely a more constructive and, if you will, Christian approach would be to adopt a caring and responsible attitude, to young people, promiscuity, AIDS, moral malaise and the other symptoms of the legacy of Mr Wood's generation. - Yours, etc.,

Herbert Street,
