Madam, - Do you think a tax on politicians' euphemisms could be included in future Budget estimates, thereby ensuring that they tell the truth or as near to it as they dare approach? And when they introduce new euphemisms, as a Minister did last Friday when she spoke of "additionality" and "prudency", could they be made to pay double taxes?

I had a peer at my OED and it has never heard of those two words so I must assume that politicians are given a special lexicon to be used when asked awkward questions by the media or the public. - Yours, etc.,
