Sir, – The main problem is that Marlay Park is not suitable for such a commercial venue. It is a wonderful amenity for families and nature lovers and people who just love to walk. But year by year, the park is being exploited for monetary gain. The wildlife is being disturbed and habitats invaded. Such damage, added to the restrictions walkers must observe, and the noise and the traffic, are all quite wrong. There are plenty of venues that are suitable for these huge concerts.
