Madam, - Your obituary of Prof Thomas Kelly (March 1st) states that he was the only expert contributor to the Encyclopaedia of Irelandto be the subject of an entry. This is very wide of the mark. Many of the contributing experts, including Terence Brown and myself, were the subjects of entries in the encyclopaedia.
