Madam, - It strikes me as unusual that RTÉ devotes time at the end of some news bulletins to announce the winning numbers in the latest Lotto draw. Is the selection of numbers in a national lottery newsworthy?
Surely it would be more appropriate for the National Lottery to pay for this type of promotion, while RTÉ could use the extra available air time to bring us, well, news. - Yours, etc,
