Sir, - Unlike T. Gerard Bennett (June 10th), I watched 16 hours of sustained excellence from Messrs Bowman and Farrell on RTE. Both of these men, together with their panelists, provided riveting television to those of us interested in politics. They were incisive in their questions and their analysis of the various counts around the country was wholly accurate. I venture to say that no other television station or pair of presenters around the world would have been as good, never mind better.
If I want "sets " or "background" or fantasy, I go to the theatre or cinema. What I got from RTE was content of a superb nature. Congratulations to RTE. and staff. - Yours, etc.,
