Sir, One element that seems to be missing from the deliberations of the court in the divorce issue seems to me fundamental to democracy.

In the first referendum, about 60 per cent voted against divorce.

In the second referendum, not one political party represented the views of that 60 per cent.

Democracy, where are you?
