Sir, - Mr Enda Kenny has announced that he "will electrify Fine Gael" if elected to its leadership. I wonder if he was reading Brendan McWilliam's "Weather Eye" in your edition of February 1st, headed "Infusing life's spark into a monstrous being". Mr McWilliams referred to Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein, which dealt with Baron Frankenstein's fascination with electricity and his belief that it could be used to resuscitate the dead. This may just be the medicine Fine Gael requires. - Yours, etc.,
