Sir, - Are the wildlife "save the whale" conservationists around the world not oblivious to the fact that by returning these poor beached whales back into the sea they are actually interfering with the process of "evolution". Do they not realise that the whales are (as there ancestors before them) trying to inhabit the land.
I'm sure that it is only a matter of time before one of these whales will be discovered with an extra addition to its torso to help it along! - Yours, etc.,
