Madam, - During a recent visit to Ireland I was somewhat bemused by the lack of road signs, particularly when leaving the N1 bound for Dun Laoghaire. Fortunately I had the assistance of a friend who is familiar with this route, so I made the ferry on time.
I find that I am not alone in my observations - which leaves me somewhat mystified as to why an essential guide to motorists has been overlooked.
