Sir, – Next year will be the bicentenary of the consecration in 1813 of Booterstown Parish Church, the Church of the Assumption on Booterstown Avenue. Work has already begun on a programme of events, which will include an exhibition featuring significant aspects of the history and development of the parish.
If your readers have photographs, documents or other material suitable for inclusion in such an exhibition (or indeed in a permanent parish archive) we would very much like to hear from them. The material need not necessarily be very old – it could be of interest if it sheds light on aspects of life in the parish over the years (eg photographs of baptisms, weddings or funerals in the parish church, with identifying names if possible).
