Call for a general election

Madam, – The institutions and professions we have traditionally been taught to respect are all now discredited beyond belief. Whether hiding behind a Roman collar or a shirt and tie, the whole facade is seen for what it is – a sickening greedy rush for personal gratification and to hell with the consequences.

The little people, as in the majority, will pick up the tab, heal themselves and move on. Well, like people many I hear on the radio, I don’t want to move on, led by the nose by the very people who created this mess. Instead, I want a change. I don’t care about the Government’s mandate and would argue like them, that these are exceptional times. So, what I want is a “general election”.

As our Government does nothing but lies to us, I see no point in listening to it any more. So, if enough of us “little people” just write to the papers or phone the radio stations with the simple message, “I want an election”, we could show it that it doesn’t have mandate. Just pick up a pen, type a short e-mail or make a phone call. The message is, “I want an election”. – Yours, etc,
