Madam, – I see that our most recent ex-taoiseach launched his autobiography in the midst of what can only be termed as a period of political and economic meltdown for our nation. Not so sure of his famed timing on this occasion.
Given the state of our economy, which is Bertie Ahern’s true legacy, one is immediately reminded of Nero and Rome burning. Might his autobiography be sub-titled “Author of All Our Woes?” – Yours, etc,
