Sir, - In a stunning act of corporate vandalism, the public amenity of Killiney beach has become a boulder-strewn rampart. The other day, 11 vehicles churned up the beach, dropping rocks and gravel where people normally walk and swim. The beach is now destroyed. If my dog were to defecate on top of the 15,000 tonnes of rubble that Iarnood Eireann is proposing to dump there, I could be fined £500. - Yours, etc.,
