An article in last Saturday’s edition, concerning the resignation of Senator Déirdre de Búrca, said that she had voted in favour of Nama when it was put to the party membership.

Ms de Búrca has pointed out that she did not vote for Nama in either the party’s ballot or in the Seanad.

The article also said that Ms de Búrca lacked confidence that John Gormley would publish the report on the DDDA.

In fact, as her letter of resignation stated, she lacked confidence that the report would be acted upon.
