The headline on an article in last Wednesday’s edition, concerning the proposed Legal Services Bill, stated “Law Society and Bar Council face abolition”. Neither the report nor the Minister’s press release, on which it was based, said this. The article did report that the regulatory powers of these two bodies would be taken over by the proposed new Legal Services Regulatory Authority.

A panel with yesterday’s article in the Property supplement on the Irish Georgian Society’s Conservation Awards omitted the name of one of the adjudicators, Dr Edward McParland, of the Irish Landmark Trust.

An article in last Saturday’s Magazine made reference to a website by the name of Greenland.ie. The correct name is greenieland.ie
