An article in yesterday’s edition reported that the State would pay up to €35 million to meet legal costs concerning the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse. The Oblates of Mary Immaculate have stated that they have not and will not be seeking costs for legal fees incurred.

The poet referred to in yesterday’s Life & Culture article on Fort Camden was incorrectly named. She is Nell Regan.

An article in last Thursday’s edition, concerning 9/11, said incorrectly that among the dead were 243 firefighters. The New York City Fire Department lost 341 firefighters and two paramedics.
