A caption of a picture of former president Mary Robinson in the edition of February 11th, speaking at the UCD Garret FitzGerald Spring School, said in error that she praised the late taoiseach’s achievements in negotiating the Anglo-Irish Agreement. In fact, she said the only public disagreement she ever had with Dr FitzGerald was over the Anglo-Irish Agreement, which she opposed, but she warmly praised his overall contribution to peace on the island.
The Dáil sketch in last Thursday’s editon referred to Joe Higgins as a TD for the Socialist Workers Party. Mr Higgins is a member of the Socialist Party.
