The headline "Inquiry into Ryanair safety standards" on page 1 in yesterday's editions referred to a report on page 5 which made it clear that the inquiries concerned two separate accidents to workers earlier this year in Ryanair's aircraft maintenance and ground handling operations. No implication that Ryanair's aviation or aircraft safety was the subject of inquiries was intended.

The caption on a photograph in Thursday's editions read "The seven people (foreground) who were accused of damaging a trial site for a Monsanto genetically modified crop . . ." In fact, Mr David Bulbulia, solicitor for the seven, was included in the foreground, second from the right.
