The television notes in last Monday's edition, concerning the RTÉ programme Scannel!, referred to the murder in January 2005 of Robert Holohan near Midleton, Co Cork. The defendant, Wayne O'Donoghue, was convicted of manslaughter and not of murder.
An article in last Monday’s edition, concerning a photography exhibition in Dublin, said one of the photographs was of the widows of Tom Clarke and Pádraig Pearse. The photograph was of Margaret Pearse, mother of Pádraig. The article also referred to a photograph of Michael Collins arriving at Dublin’s Mansion House. This was a conference at which the Labour Party sought to get agreement between those in favour and those opposed to the treaty.
