The bodies of a 26-year-old woman and two children were discovered at an address in London today, police said.
Officers were called to a property at Nelson Street in east London at 11.45am after reports that the woman had not been seen for a number of days.
Inside officers discovered the bodies of the woman and two children, thought to be aged three and six.
All three were pronounced dead at the scene. Police are treating the deaths as suspicious. Relatives of the three are being informed and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.

A police spokeswoman said officers were retaining an open mind regarding the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
