A woman has appeared at Tallaght district court charged with assault causing harm following the death of her husband in south Dublin early yesterday.

Mrs Dolores O'Neill (46), a mother of two from Coolamber Park, Knocklyon, was released on bail on condition that she sign in daily at Ballyfermot Garda station.

She is required to stay with her brother in Clondalkin and will reappear in court next week.

Gardaí were called to the scene at Coolamber Park, Knocklyon, yesterday morning where Mr Declan O'Neill's body was found.
