The winners of the Esat Telecom Young Scientists Exhibition 1998 will be announced this evening by the Taoiseach, Mr Ahern. The exhibition opens to the public over the weekend and the Presi- dent, Mrs McAleese, will visit on Sunday.
The winners of the Irish Times/Esat Telecom Young Scientists Exhibition Simplex Crossword competition for yesterday's entry were: Conor Doyle (14), St Benildus College, Dublin, stand No 71 (green); Ashling Moran (15), Ursuline Secondary School, Thurles, Co Tipperary, stand No 76 (green); Edel Henry (16), St Joseph's College, Roscommon, stand No 101 (blue).
