Ozzy Osbourne's son Louis has confirmed that his father will not be able to attend his wedding in Co Offaly today when he will marry Dublin-born actress Louise Lennon.

The wedding party descended on Kinnity Castle yesterday for the start of four days of celebration.

Sharon Osbourne is staying by her husband's bedside in England while her children Kelly and Jack have flown back to Los Angeles to present her TV show.

Louis said he is only concerned that his father gets better. "Whether he attended the wedding or not paled into insignificance after the horrific injuries he sustained."

His mother Thelma and his sister Jessica have flown in for the wedding .

Actress Louise said: "The wedding is going to be great. The day after we get married we'll have clay pigeon shooting for the men and the women will be able to go to spas and horse riding. We'll leave to go on our honeymoon to Cape Town at the weekend. We'll also be going on a safari."

She said her parents, Terry and Shay, are very excited about the romantic winter wedding.

She said: "Both my parents are very excited. My Dad is a bit nervous about his speech." She said she will be arriving at the church on a horse-drawn carriage on the morning of the wedding. "I'm praying it's not raining or freezing. "

Louis said they will begin house-hunting as soon as they get back from honeymoon.

He said: "We were looking to buy a property when we moved over here from America earlier in the year.

"But I had an album released and had many tour dates in America.

"We were trying to do the house and the mortgage and the wedding and we just decided we hadn't the emotional energy to do everything.

"As soon as I get back from honeymoon we'll attack that one. In fairness the biggest thing, I think about when choosing where to live is whether I'm near an airport."

He said the prices of houses in the capital at the moment are "absolutely ridiculous".

"Louise has family in Meath. We might consider Bettystown," he said.
