Ulster skipper Andy Ward and second-row Gary Longwell will miss this afternoon's friendly against a Celtic Warriors selection at Gibson Park.

Ward and Longwell will both be rested ahead of next weekend's Celtic League semi-final against Munster and will watch the game in the stands alongside the injured Jonathon Bell, Paddy Wallace and Tyrone Howe.

Ulster coach Alan Solomons is confident, however, that both Ward and Longwell will be fit to face Munster. This afternoon's match kicks off at 2 p.m.
