Inter Milan striker Christian Vieri will sit out tomorrow’s UEFA Cup semi-final first leg against Feyenoord, but Brazilian Ronaldo has been named in Hector Cuper's squad.
Vieri has been troubled by a groin strain which forced him to miss Italy's friendly against England last week.
Although he played and scored in Saturday's 1-0 win over Fiorentina, Inter have opted to rest him ahead of Sunday's Serie A match with Atalanta.
Ronaldo, though, is expected to feature in the match which will be his first outing for Inter for over three months.
Ronaldo played 45 minutes for Brazil in a friendly against Yugoslavia last week but has not featured for his club since he was injured in the December 23rd match at Piacenza.
Inter will also be without their captain, Argentine defender Javier Zanetti, who has a hip injury, with Croat Dario Simic expected to step in at right-back
