US President George W. Bush arrived in Britain tonight, his Air Force One aircraft touching down at the Brize Norton air force base in western England,half-way between London and Oxford.
President Bush is to kick off his second trip to Europe with a meeting tomorrow with British Prime Minister Tony Blair, beforegoing on to the G8 summit that opens Friday in Italy.
Although the US leader was originally meant to be flown from thebase to London by helicopter, an air force commander told Sky Televisionthat bad weather meant he would now be taken in by car.
