Diyarbakir - Police exhumed four more bodies in south-eastern Turkey yesterday, the latest grim finds in a string of at least 53 murders blamed on Islamic guerrillas.
Their mouths covered by surgical masks to ward off the stench, forensic teams in the regional capital, Diyarbakir, burrowed into the dingy basement of a two-storey house. Five bodies were found there at the weekend. Three more bodies were uncovered at the house yesterday.
