A continuous line of mourners moved between two funeral homes in Castleisland, Co Kerry, last night to pay their respects to the family of two men who died together in a head-on collision on the N21 outside the town on Sunday morning.

There were also large crowds at Lyons' Funeral Home in Listowel where the 18-year-old driver of the other vehicle, Jason Tolan, was laid out.

His removal took place last night to St Briget's Church, Duagh, near Listowel, where his funeral mass will take place this morning.

The bodies of Freddie Ryan (31) and Patrick O'Reilly (26) lay in two separate funeral homes - Tangney's Funeral Home on one side and Barrett's on the Killarney Road in Castleisland, before they were removed to the parish church of St Stephen and St John.
