Three people were rescued from the sea last night after they were forced to abandon their 25ft motor cruiser when it caught fire in Cork Harbour.
The men were on an angling trip in the channel between Fort Camden and Fort Carlisle near Roches Point. The RNLI Crosshaven inshore boat was on a training exercise when the call came in at 8.20pm and quickly picked up the men.
It is understood none of them was seriously injured.
