Three Meath crash victims named

Gardaí have named the three men killed last night in a road accident in Co Meath involving a car and an articulated lorry.

Mr Leo Jones (54) from Mullingar in Co Westmeath, Mr Graham Walsh (23) and Mr Kevin Masterson (20), both from Granard in Co Longford, died when the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry.

The crash happened at about 7 p.m. at Moyvalley on the N4 between Clonard and Enfield, near Mother Hubbard's restaurant. Road conditions were icy at the time.

The men died at the scene of the accident and their bodies were taken to the James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown, Co Dublin.
