Three teenage girls were injured in a paint bomb attack in Derry last night.

Two paint bombs were believed to have been thrown from the Bishop Street area into the front yard of the property just before 10 p.m. yesterday.

The girls, two aged 14 and another 13-year-old, sustained minor cut to their lower legs and police have appealed for witnesses.

A four-year-old boy was also splattered when the devices struck a house where they were playing in the Fountain area of the city, police said.
