One in five people who commit suicide has been bullied, a study has found. Although the bullying is not always the direct cause, it is often experienced by a victim in the lead-up to death.

Ms Jacinta Kitt of the Anti-Bullying Centre at Trinity College Dublin told a Macra meeting in Thurles, Co Tipperary, that it was a myth that bullies were aggressive loudmouths.
