Poor weather conditions have forced NASA's Mission Control to postpone a landing attempt by the space shuttle Atlantis at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The seven astronauts were instructed to take another spin around the world as flight controllers considered additional attempts in both Florida and California.

The astronauts are trying to complete their successful trip to the Hubble Space Telescope. It was NASA's last repair job at the 19-year-old observatory. The $1 billion overhaul should keep the telescope working for another five to 10 years.
