It was all happening on Thursday night. The same night also saw the opening of the 14th Dublin Film Festival at the Virgin Cinema complex, with the screening of Cathal Black's Love and Rage. Afterwards, there was a party for the entire audience at Shooters next door.
The film's star, Greta Scacchi, flew in for the opening night. Also there were director John Boorman, actress Victoria Smurfit, Alf Smiddy, the managing director of Beamish & Crawford; film director John Shea, who flew in from New York, and whose own film Southie, was screened last night. The film's stars, Rose McGowan and ex-member of band New Kids on the Block, Donnie Wahlberg, also made it along. The film festival runs until April 25th.
