Due to a number of late changes in RTE's weekend schedules, notified after the Weekend supplement went to press, RTE programmes as listed for both Saturday and Sunday will be broadcast with some alterations.
On RTE 1 on Saturday, there is a later start to the film Amazing Panda Adventure, which now begins at 6.45 p.m. and not 6.35 p.m. as billed. There are more extensive changes to the listed programmes on Network 2 on Sunday night, when the schedule has been changed as follows: from 7.20 p.m. Cinnlinnte Nuachta is followed by The Simpsons, then at 7.50 p.m. there is a film: Cinedisney: The Prince and the Pauper (1963, directed by Don Shaffey). At 9.30 p.m. The Sunday Game will be shown, followed by the film originally billed for earlier in the evening, Waiting for Harvey at 11.00 p.m. This is followed by The Movie Show at 12.45 a.m. and The Big Easy at 1.15 a.m. At 2.05 a.m. MOUTH will be screened, and at 2.25 a.m. Jobfinder 99.
A spokesperson for RTE said that the late changes were due to a decision to screen Waiting for Harvey, a feature on the Cannes Film Festival, after the 9.00 p.m. "watershed".
