A Dublin prostitute has told the Central Criminal Court that on her first outing a man forced her to have sex with him at knife-point.

The 30-year-old woman said he told her that "people like you give people AIDS and they have to go home to their wives".

She said the man turned her around and she thought she was going to be stabbed.

She said the incident was observed by a local man who saw what was happening and heard her screams but did nothing.

When she escaped to the street she met two men who laughed when she told them what happened.

A 32-year-old security worker has pleaded not guilty to seven charges concerning offences against two prostitutes which are alleged to have happened on or about November 8th, 1998. He denies raping and orally raping both women. He also denies anally raping one of them and to assault causing harm to both of them on the same occasion.

Earlier, the jury heard another prostitute say that a client told her that after he killed her he would leave the money by her side so when she was found, her children would have it for Christmas.

The hearing continues.
