A man was today charged with the murder of Anthony Jordan in Ballymun last May.
Mr Christopher Geraghty (33), with an address in, Ballymun, Dublin, was charged with murdering the 54-year-old on the night of May 10th, or morning of the 11th, at a flat in Balbutcher Lane. Jordan's body was found a number of days after the attack.
A post-mortem revealed that Mr Jordan, of Balbutcher Lane, died from head injuries.
Mr Geraghty was granted free legal aid and remanded in custody until September 2nd.

He is the second person charged in connection with the attack. Last month, a 25-year-old woman, Ms Tanya Lambe, was arrested and charged with "assault causing harm" to Mr Jordan. She was remanded in custody by Dublin District Court.
