Tonight's eircom League Premier Division clash between title-chasing St Patrick's Athletic and Derry City has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Richmond Park.
The Inchicore ground failed a 9.30 a.m. pitch inspection following heavy overnight rain in Dublin.
The tie was originally scheduled for January 25th but that was also postponed due to severe waterlogging.
The eircom League has yet to fix a new date for the game.
Meanwhile, Limerick FC are "hopeful" that their eircom League Cup semi-final against Shamrock Rovers at Jackman Park tomorrow (2.30 p.m.) will go ahead.
Heavy rain fell in Limerick overnight and there are further heavy showers expected today.
Limerick played host to Sligo Rovers on Sunday and a club official today reported the Jackman Park surface to have "come out well."
"We've got 24 hours until kick-off and we are hopeful tomorrow's game will go ahead," explained the Limerick official.
